This is really about my mom's 90 ranger but it applies to my bird also.

IT has rear ABS, and I have heard that ABS systems need special tools and use high pressure blah blah. I kinda doubt this since manuals say the same thing about ac work and its a breeze. (No pubn intended) I need to replace a rear caliper, do I just do it like a normal brake caliper? Do I have to go through some special bleeding procedure afterwards? thanks.

It "Should" be the same.. But if you remove the line, and you have to bleed the system... it is different. Someone have the CD for the tbirds manual?? I only have a Hanes book

well like I said, this is really for my mom's ranger than my tbird. I have a ford shop manual for the birdie and in the ABS section under bleeding it says refer to section 06-xx-xx witch is the section for standard bleeding.
