what would i have to modify to get it io work. i havent got the tranny and shifter yet but i will soon so i wanna know what i might have to modify and all so when i go to do it i have a heads up. any input would be great. thank you.

C4

Hello

The C4 will fit. You will have to modify the trany mount due that the trany mounts in a different place. You will see when you put them side by side.

You will also have to change the front yoke on the drive shaft. A special universal joint is needed. Same Universal as when you upgrade a Ranger To a 8.8 rear.
I took both ends with me.

The C4 shifter tab must be pointed down. Otherwise the shift pattern will be back wards. The tab on the C4 can be changed.

Remember that the C4 has lower gear ratio's so you might have to up your rear gear to get the same performance.

Why don't you go to a 4R70W? stronger than AOD + lower gear ratios.

i can get the C4 and the shifter with it for $250 and i know that there isnt anything wrong with it. it was just rebuilt before my buddy put it in his mustang and then he pulled it and put the 5 speed back in it cause he wanted his manual back. so i cant really pass that one up

im really not too sure about the gear upgrade but probably so. i do know that it has a reverse manual valve body and shift kit. im gonna drive the car on the street every now and then but its going to be going to the track
