You mean that time of year that is 110 degrees? I have a totaled 97 Cougar, an 89 Cougar needing the top end put back on, and a 97 Mark VIII with a huge dent. I just don't have car I am willing to be seen in around other enthusiasts. And this is coming from someone that took two of those cars to a meet in Phoenix in 115 degree temps!

Who knows what the summer holds. I spent nearly every weekend last summer in Phoenix, probably many this year (daughter has practices and tryouts, then she is going to ASU), I might get a door and get body work done, and I might get the intake back on the 89.

Well just this last fall I was changing lanes and the guy behind me some how magically was next to me so yeah we connected fenders so i need one of those. my car isn't in the best shape but it's still cool to have guys who share the same love for these cars to meet up with and b.s and go to other cars shows with. Since my move to phoenix I have no gear head buddies to tinker on our cars with I know there is a couple guys who live minutes from me who were posting on here last summer.

True, one of the meetups we spent 15 minutes checking out each others cars, and 2 hours eating and bench racing. We spent more time pacing each other (to check speedometers and RPMs with 3.73 gears) than at the restaurant.

I don't think anyone from either one of those meets is still active/in area/own an MN12 or FN10. It is only a 90 minute drive and I would be up for it if there is enough interest. Do they still have Saturdays at the Pavilions or any of the cruises.

I'm totally down to meet some people with the same vehicular as mine. I talk to anyone I can about my car and because they don't have my car I eventually seem to sound like a broken record while the other person in the conversation is looking at anything around me aside from me.

@puttergirl What a coincidence that you named your mn12 Scarlett just as I have lolz. I agree az summer is atrocious and not the friendliest atmosphere to stand on black top and opening just as hot engine hoods.

They say great minds think alike. How amazing. I just got my entire hood and front fenders along with the roof repainted and extremely fabuloso. You could say I gave her a face life. Pics coming soon!!!!

I'm sure golf is a fine game, but I'm not a puttergirl, haha! Putergirl is for the fact I work on computers. Feel free to call me MJ or Marie too, anything but late for dinner ;)

That is an unusual coincidence, I don't think I've met anybody else that named their car the same, let alone being in AZ land!

MJ
Can you elaborate on "work on computers" for us? Some of us here are in the IT field, and I for one would like to know what your specialty is in! :)

Not bad! Very interesting stuff you do there.

The digital signage stuff I know very well. I used to work for a manufacturer of DS equipment; perhaps you heard of HabeyUSA? If so, that's who I worked for. If not, that's who I worked for, lol. That was between '09-'12 and I helped the company get from a 3 person startup to a multi-million dollar company in that time.
