i have a 94 4r70w and wonder the b&m trick shift the original fluid will be compatible to use in my transmission?
the guy at the part store said that it will compatible even when mercon v is required.
then after i bought it then i saw other place on the net selling synthetic one to be use on modern electronic controlled transmission.
should i return the fluid now or it will be save to be use on my car?

Personally, I would return it and save my money for something more useful.
Use a good quality Mercon V fluid, you will be fine.

Want a cooler running transmission? Put in an auxillary cooler.
Want a shift kit? - do a JMod.
Want it all to last longer? Change the fluid every 20,000miles (see cooler above).

JMHO,
Greg

Before I joined the boards, I bought the Trick Shift, and put it in. Stage 1 didn't do anything, Stage 2 shifted harder, but made the soleniods in the transmission click constantly. Then I read about it, and never used it again. It raises the line pressure in your tranny too high, which is bad. I still have it in the garage somewhere. Save the money for the JMod.
