Why do so many people that should know better run their stock and custom directional rims backward? i.e. todays featured car, nice touch with body colored black rims, mounted backward.
Yes sir......you are correct.SlowProject said:I might be wrong but.......
I thought I had read that the early style wheels were all cast the same, where the newer version were side specific
on directional tires, they go front to back back to front no side to side. directional wheels do need to go that way too.tinman_72 said:When you rotate the tires, the front wheels are moved to the opposite corners: right front to left rear, left front to right rear. It cost too much money to have the tires removed from the wheels and put back on.
they are '97 sport rims........and i know one is backwards, i have 3 left and one right, i guess the previous owner hit a curb or somethin. they are winter/racing rims ne ways so i'm not too concerned, it's not like it makes a differenceEric420 said:Yes sir......you are correct.
In regards to the black T-Bird on the front page.....correct me if i'm wrong. Since i see the five lugnuts holding each wheel on would lead me to believe they are early style SC rims which are not made as right/left side. They are all the same for both sides.
