I hope this is the right place to ask, but How exactly is BARO computed? I know its done at near WOT after 3 sustained accelerations.

I'm working on a 4.6 DOHC continental, and I can't get the baro to go above 152Hz. Other cars I have are from 155-158. I tried cleaning the MAF a few times. Curious how exactly it computes the barometric pressure. I know IAT is involved.

I'm wondering if a reading like that implicates a MAF, because my LTFTs are close to 10, or there could be other issues.

You are right, in the CRAI8 strategy that I have seen on the web MAF and the ACT are used to compute Inferred Barometric Pressure IBAP.
Before changing out the MAF I would increase the MAF air mass column of data (in the tune) by 5% while keeping the A/D counts the same as changes to the air tube will influence the MAF readings.
