I've got PWO 17x9 cobra R wheels all around with 275/40s in back and 255/45s in front. Today I had the wheels off and tried the 275s in the front, and they fit with no problems whatsoever. However, they were within 1/4 or 1/8 inch or so of the spindle, so I'm wondering if tire deflection under cornering would cause rubbing with the spindle. Anyone have experience on that one?
