Has anyone done this or do you just swap the entire tensioner?

If you've changed the bearings, where did you get the bearings and how did you specify them?

If you just replace the entire tensioner, is a "recycled" tensioner from the local junk yard ok, of go for a new one?

Well, I don't think it the belt tensioner anymore.

I get the bearing squeal only when I start the engine when it is dead ice cold. The sound is centered and in front of the engine. If there's any warmth in the "water", the noise goes away. I'd better start pricing water pumps.

Any places or brands not to use?

I was a total doofus!

My problems were not the water pump. The bearings in my Alternator and my lower belt tensioner were BOTH going/gone.

Much thanks to Mike and Al of the Super Coupe Club of Iowa.
