I am considering purchasing the BF Goodrich Control T/A tire, either the M80 or M65 series, in the 215-70-R15 size.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these tires ?

Why not 235/60-15s? or 245/60-15s?

I have been using the stock tire size for 163,000 miles of highway driving, including driving in Nor'easter conditions in the winter. I would think that the 60 series tires wouldn't perform as well in the snow as the 70 series. The skinnier tires usually work better in the snow (all other things being equal - tread design, etc.).

Has anyone driven the 245/60/15's in the snow ?
