i've seen it twice this week. it's a dark blue 96/7 with a body kit, cobra R wing, and (svt) cobra emblems on it. it looks really well done, and sounds beautiful. anyone know who it is? i'm ready to chase him down and let him know about the meet next month.

His wasn't a 96 or 97 but a 95. I remember talking to him because we discussed the rear disc brakes I have and that he had drums. Could be the same guy, or it could be someone else. Catch him and see if he can make it to the meet.

Yeah I'll be there car permitting. It needs new tires and a front end alignment bad! The motor is getting ready to turn 170000 but still going strong. Smokes a little on take off, and yes I still have those rear drums. I've been playing with another car I have. I've got a 90 eagle talon AWD turbo. I've since then put on a evo big 16g turbo,boost controller set at 16 pounds and a 2400 pound clutch. The talon runs alot stronger and faster than the bird.''But not for long''. The bird will always be my car of choice. Looks and sounds better too. Anyway I will see you guys there. Later.

Good to hear from you! Even if it isn't ready by then, you'll have all summer to get the bird squared away for the other meets. Just show up, we'll know who you are even if you don't show in the bird.

By the way, that's a mighty monster you're working on there... with the Talon. Just be careful, those things can be money pits I hear. But they can be crazy fast!

i really liked the idea of a little cruise though. is it too late to maybbe do the whole waterfront > woody's thing? i saw a marauder cruise a while back and it was pretty cool.

yeah, that was the original plan, and we can just meet at the same time at woody's, and anyone who wants to can meet at waterfront maybe an hour earlier? even if it's just a few of us it'll be fun. anyone car to throuw out times?
