Copper pipe works the best for these cars, rather than regular exhaust pipe, and to set it up, run it down from the manifolds and then directly straight back, then up through the control arms but under the axles, then straight out.

haha well im new to this and when I posted the bolt on headers I meant bolt on exhaust system. I was just thinking headers at the moment and don't know how to delete that post.

but yeah Im looking at either exhaust or a new intake set u p for the tbird since the intake might cost a little more, im thinking on doing the exhaust instead.
just wanna know what your opinions are.. thanks

I'm with this guy....except, I would incorporate the side mirrors some kind of way...

And for headers, I would look for Kooks long tubes, although they are quite expensive.

Jba also makes shorty headers for the thunderbird but they are known for cracking on the number 4 cylinder primary and show minimal if any gains. Kooks are where it's at.
