Has anyone purchased this system, and if so how do you like it, ect. I am unable to find a shop that can do decent work in this area, so far. Appreciate the feedback, Fuzz.

I have it. I installed it 9 years ago on my '95 AED T-Bird. It still looks new and cleans up nicely with steel wool. Back then, kit p.n. 14415 ran me $636.00 from a Motorsport dealer.

It's quasi-dual just like the stock stuff, but instead of the restrictive "T" at the back, it "Y's" before the pumpkin. The pipes start as 2.5", then work there way to 2.25". Finally, they end up at 2" at the tail pipes.

Granted, there are far better exhaust systems out there, especially 9 years later. I love the Borla kit because there are no NVH drone/hum frequencies and it's dead silent on the highway.

It works for me, I ran 12's with it so it can't be all that bad.

Do you think that's because of the kind of metal the exhaust is made of, or from the design of the mufflers, placement of them, or a little of everything?

When I get around to getting headers for my car, I'm going to be redoing the entire exhaust, which is currently a true dual with an H pipe. I was going to have everything redone with the same size pipe, only in stainless steel, with an X-pipe and a SS muffler. But unlike most guys, I'd rather have my car be nice and quiet, or at least close to stock... just flow a teeny-bit better for near-future upgrades.

Thanks!

if you want a borla set up, get yourself two borla muffler, go to a muffler shop and let the shop do the piping for you, half the price with same results...

I was just figuring that up myself, but still wish I could find a quality kit without breaking the bank.
