OK I found the "build sheet".Right where everyone said it would be, passengerside wheelarch, in the trunk, under the carpet. Now what do all those letters mean?
I've got a '69 MOPAR and the build sheet has all the codes on the back. Any ideas?:2huh:

Heh. I've never heard of the build sheet...I don't know...just never ran across it.
I found it easily, but I don't have a functional scanner.

Here is the build sheet that I found in my splitport 94 LX:

-Rod

Edit: I need to look in some of my other cars and see if they have the build sheets too. (I have 12 MN12's sitting here) I'm especially interested to see if the two 35th Anny's have the build sheets still.

When I had my 90 SC, I e-mailed Ford with the VIN and got a copy sent to me for FREE.

That's cool.

I think I also want to see that build sheet.

PCD,
which e-mail address did you e-mail to?
and what did you say? ...just that you need the build sheet?

I wonder if they'll send me my build-sheet, too.

I went to ford.com and then to the customer relations page. I told them I had a 90 SC that needed some TLC because of the previous owners. I needed the build sheet to see what the car came with to restore it.

Got a part of my build sheet e-mailed from a Ford tech at flatratetech.com this morning....
(this guy said only partial build-sheets are available from dearlers anymore for Fords built prior to 2000)

It really is not a complete build-sheet but it had the spring info as follows:
Front: FOSC-5310-J(which I already knew)
Rear: FOSC-5560-E (hm...)

weird thing I noticed:
in the "build-sheet" he sent me my emission calibration is listed as 718B R11
I have a little sticker on my driver's door jamb which says:
"CALIB. 718B R10"

isn't that the OLDER calibration?
How could this be? did someone change my pcm calibration??

I just found mine crumpled up with a piece of tape behind the trunk carpet on the passenger side =)

Unfortunately, none of it means jack. Hey, the engine tag no matches :p
