Damn.. that picture keeps popping up.

Those were 17x9.5 Torque Thrust 2's. I had to swap hubs and such to fit those.

They were on the car for roughly 18 months before someone decided they wanted them, the complete interior and misc other parts.

Aside from them sticking out past the fender edge on the front, they looked pretty good.

91BLKBIRD,
Yea we can sell ya some tires...Thing is that more than likely the savings we extend to you will go towards freight to get them to ya...But if you really want a set from us I can get some prices to ya...Just lemme know what sizes you want and what performance rating....

Hope we can do something...

cudaz101,
I'll get in touch with you when i am ready for the wheels... i def want to get my car painted and some new rims by the summer time so i can enjoy em... Not sure what rating i want for tires yet... lol b/c i dont exatly know a lot about tires... plus not sure what size tires will fit with 17's... right now i have 235/70R15 on my stock rims the freeking huge but the white letters makes them seem a bit smaller, lol the ride is nice though... def saving them for the winer when i get new rims thats for sure...

Tire Size....This is VERY Debatalbe...IMO it all depends on if you do or don't lower the car...If you are not lowered then the 245 or 255-50-17 would be OK to fill the wheels wells...If you are lowered then I like the 255-45-17's all the way around...I like to be able to rotate my tires so this size seemed to be the best fitment for front and rear and was big enuf to fill the wheel wells...

Performance ratings is all about what you want to do with the car....If you want your tires to last, and you want decent performance you can find some really nice H-Rated tires for less money and longer wear...This is the way I went and I am a performance freak, but I hate having to buy tires all of the time...So the trade off was really a simple choice for me...And I am still happy with the performance of the tire not to mention cost and tread wear...

Hope that helps...

Yes that definatly helps thanx... my car isnt lowered, not sure if i am gonna lower it yet... so i think the 245 or 255 - 50 - 17 will work nice with my car... one question, if i lowered my lx to the hight of a stock sc... b/c i believe the sc is lower... will that effect this tire size?

I don't think that there is much differance in the ride height of the SC vs LX...I would say that the appearance that it sits lower would be the ground effects on the SC accomplishing that...

If you do lower your car 1.5-2.0" then you may have issues with those tires...I think there are some guys lowered running them though...I still like the 255-45-17's on a lowered car...But hey it all comes down to what ya like...As long as it don't rub and ya fancy the way it looks then its all good...
