i've searched but didnt find what i was looking for. when i buy the cams for my engine build (crower stage 3 n/a or stage 2 sc) do i need to buy new gears for them or can i use the ones off my stockers? i do have bolt on gears right?

Yes you can use the stock ones and right, they are bolt on.

thanks. would there be any benifit to using an aftermarket gear or is it money better spent elsewhere?

I wouldn’t use the Fidanza Billet Aluminum Adjustable Cam Gears if that’s what you are referring to. Apparently it’s a REALY bad design and the timing could easily slip enough for piston to valve contact to happen.

yeah i read about those on here and at modular depot, i wouldn't let my worst enemy use those pieces of crap. i just didnt know if frpp or some other company had a better than stock part out there.
