Does anyone know where to get these tools from. I have called every part store and my local Ford and everyone points at the other.:leftright :leftright

I put my timing chains on without them. It wasn't terribly difficult, just has to make sure of #1 piston position and the crank position. I would have felt more comfortable with the tools installed, but they are expensive....almost $200 per set.

I've checked out the tools at OTC and gave them a call. The kit for the SOHC only supplies you with enough to hold one cam. So you have to buy additional parts at somewhere around 300 bucks for everything. They don't supply anything for the DOHC as of yet.

I just followed the instuctions in the chiltons and manualy turned it over. When I was satisfied that i had NO metel to metel contanct, I put it all together and started it up. i was nervous. the unforseen is always in the back of my mind. Anyway the engine runs great. The trans on the other hand is a different strory.
