My friend road with me to the auto parts store the other day and commented that my car shifts very hard and that I could snap my rear end. I have a pretty hefty J-Mod on my Mark. Is it really that big of a risk? I can understand it wearing out faster, but I wouldn't think it would just break on me.

with all the people running the strip with stock rears and shafts i'd say you are fine.

but that's my take on it.

I have been beating up on my car for the last two years and I do here some more clunking
coming from the drive shaft or trans mount . But the half shafts will last with no issues .
