I have true duals on my bird and I was just wondering if I would need to put the old exhaust on to pass inspection? I have the cat and resonators, no muffs

Alot of it depends on what state you reside in & what the standards are. In the state of Virgnia, if you have a Converter & 1 muffler itll pass. Some states require just Converters, some none at all. I'd check first. I know here when they inspect a car, they put it in a car lift & look at the brakes & exhause at the same time. so Visual will be a dead give away since a muffler or cat wont be there.

It depends on who you know and where you are. I got my car inspected and I've got a busted windshield. I used to be able to get a car inspected without it ever leaving the house.
