hey guys . whats up again. Just tuned my car up with autolite double plat. plugs. gapped at .54, taylor wires, and demon coil pack. also put magnum cai. than i filled it up with gas b/c it was runnig on empty.

Now my car is bogging. and its getting worse. im figuring bad gas. so i put 2 bottles of dry gas (water absorber or whatever its called made by heet) drove about 20 miles or so. but still no fix. what could it be??

fuel filter, pump could be several things. Does it act like its starving for gas or just loosing power at a certain range?

mine did that pretty badly also, turned out to be the mass air flow sensor.

it still does it some, but its not near as bad. i let the car sit for about 2 months and i didnt drive it and it seems to be doing it again....

thats really weird that this happened right after the tune up? the demon coil pack says to set the gap at .65. but i have them set at .54 factory spec. ...........(i read the instructions for coil pack after the fact, didnt think it would make a diff.) could that be it? it feels like the engine is gonna blow up lol

troubleshot the maf by disconnecting it. that aint the problem

I was thinking MAF too didnt it happen before the tuneup?

it just started about 40 min. after tune up. than progressivley got worse and worse. it even stalled a few times. and when i started it , it died about 5 sec. later. than started again.

had a problem like that also, did a full tune up and then the car ran like crap, i put the old plugs back in and it was ok, re-check even the new parts they can be faulty as well

ha..considering i threw the old plugs away. they were kinda shot. plus it took me close to 2.5 hrs to do everything. tuning this car is a major kick in the balls lol

found and semi fixed the problem. a loose #1 cylinder spark plug wire was the culprit !!

i got it on there but cant go anyfurther b/c there is no room to push it in place to hook and lock. all i need is some more room to give hit a good push and im good. im just gonna bring it to my freinds shop and stick it on the lift.

lol screw cruising. im nailing everytime i get on the highway foir about a min or 2. love the sound of that v-tec and intake combo when they kick in. lol too bad i hate japanese and fwd vehicles.

A full tank of gas, and you expect a fix on a bad tank of gas after 20 miles?

Run it down and try another station, other then that, get rid of the demon ignition crap and go back to OE.
