The signal the Idle Air Control on the side of the throttle body isn't sending a good signal back to the ecm. It could be due to a bad IAC or possibly a loose connection.

Well I just replaced the IAC so it must be a bad connection.

Any one know what the voltage should read for the IAC wires to the PCM should be to check if the the wires are bad?

P1506 - Idle Air Control System Overspeed. Hmm, did u look to see if the 2 air passages where the IAC valve connects to are blocked in any way? Also did u get a new gasket?

Where the AED manifold is...the IAC is tucked under pretty good, but I know my air tube connection is ok. Yes new gasket also.

ahhhhh ok i didn't know you had the AED. Im not to familiar with the supercharger and intake manifold setup, but I would imagine it being tucked away.. just like the 94 - 95 4.6L manifold =P
