Im not doing this to be illegal or anything, but My old odometer broke and I would like to get my mileage to read the same. Whats an easy way to change it?

assuming this is a 97 cluster...

depending on how off the mileage is, pull the needle off and the front plate(the thing with the face) and roll the last segment(the last one by the gears) and spin it forward.

if its REALLY off and dont have time to spin a couple thousand miles by hand, pop out the odometer as an assembly. when you have it out push down gripping the last segment (the same plastic segment you would turn above) with the long side of the pin pushing on a table or something. this will slide the segment your gripping down, freeing up all the segments with the numbers to spin free( keep track of the gears inside). then just set to what you want it to be, making sure it all lines up and rotates correctly when put back together, also check how the numbers face when placed in the speedo assembly( this can take a few times to get right)
