Changing valve seals.

Anyone here done it?
I need to change them on my 73 Thunderbird. She has a 460.
Has anyone changed them on a 460 before?
This is one thing I've never done.

I plan to leave the heads on the car....I have a hose that screw to the spark plug, which then I can connect to my air compressor to keep the cylinder filled with pressure, to keep the valves up.
Does anyone know what a good pressure is to use? 100 psi? 130 psi?
I guess I'll rent a spring compressor from O-Reilly's or wherever.

Am I heading in the right direction with this?

100 psi should work just fine. It really isn't hard, just tedious. Its easiest to do one seal at a time so you don't have to worry about losing/mismatching keepers and stuff. Not sure how much room you have in the engine bay, but if you can get one, the type of spring compressor that has a couple claws that grab a coil towards the bottom of the spring and screw tight to compress it make it easier to do it on the car as opposed to the ones where you have to pry downward.
