to check timing you disconnect the spout connector and then run engine with timing light. which mark do your read the timing off of, its says the car should be set at 10 btdc or is there a better degree to set it at for more power. just wandered because changed plugs today and all were white and had build up around the electrodes. not sure if maf is leaning it out too much or am getting some mild detonation, dont notice a knock under full throttle.
