I pulled my console top off yesterday and found that mice have chewed the wires leading to the fog light switch & the console light. The conductors are intact but the insulation is gone. Mice are a real problem when you live on a farm. I made repairs a couple of years ago to the same wires for the same reason. Anyone have any ideas on how I can better mouse proof this area? Is there a wire type the dirty vermin won’t chew on? I throw poison packs all around the farm buildings and garages every fall.

We use this stuff called Mouse Out, comes in an aerosol can, you spry it in a paper bag, place the bag in your car while it's hibernating, or in our case the combines, and re do it every two months I think. It works very good. We got it from the local Cae IH dealership

I'm actually going home this weekend, I'll try to dig up a can maybe get a pic and some info off the can for you. That way you might be able to find it somewhere other than the Case place
