ok so.. ive gone over the shifting problem with a fine toothed comb on this car... even went as far as replacing the tranny itself...twice.. and ended up putting the original back in.. today pulling some routine maintenance (check fluids, plugs, clean MAFS & IAT). well you guys also know that im having (or was) having a sputtering problem.. that i have read to be easily fixed my cleaning the mafs.. well i used a q-tip and some alcohol and cleaned it for once.. took it out for a test drive and nearly died of shock at the change that had come over the car. my tranny has so much smoother shifting than it did before.. no more nice little tire chirp between 1 & 2. and i ended up covering a guy on a motorcycle in smoke getting out into traffic (whoops!).

now thw quicker throttle response.. better idle.. better accel. i can under stand.. but smoother shifting?!?! can someone shed some light on this one for me?

**edit** i just noticed that i put this in the wrong thread listing.. con aomeone move it for me? sorry, thx
