Is it possible to change the frequency of the cars clicker?
I have two cougars, a 95 and 96.

One of my clickers and keys fell out of my pocker when I was mowing
the lawn.
Needless to say, they were cut to pieces.

you can reprogram the remote fairly simply. Pull back the trunk carpet on the drivers side. You will see a black plastic cover, covering the control module for the key less. On the side there will be a male plug with two terminals. Short these together with a Flathead screwdriver or similar. The locks will cycle. Push a button on the remote. Now it should work.
