When I shift my car into gear or when the car shifts when accelerating i get a single clunk noise. The problem is this only happens like once a week if that so its hard to find the problem. The trans mounts look good, axle mounts look good, other than that the only thing i could say would be a u-joint. So Iam leaning to the axle mounts or u-joint cause thats where the sound seems to come from. any suggestions??

It is likely one of these that is causing the "clunk":

engine mounts
trans mount
trans crossmember mounts
U-joints
Centersection mounts (diff bushings)
Centersection cover mount (diff cover mount)
