How hard would it be to put Cobra intake and Heads on a MArk VIII motor and how fesable is it? Ive got a set of Cobra Heads and Intake T/B. Just got my Mark Motor, going to rebuild it and put forged pistons, rods ETC.. in it..The Mark VIII motor will be going in my 95 ThunderbirdI forgot to post the year of the MArk VIII Motor which is a 94 model.

Is it going into a Mark VIII? What year Cobra parts?

Never mind the heads unless they are ported. The Cobra heads from 96 - 98 are exactly the same as the 93 - 98 Mark heads with exception of the cams. The timing is different for more torque in the Mark and the Mark has a tad higher lift.

The intake for a 96 - 98 Cobra is a direct bolt on but you have to switch some of the connectors, lengthen the wires, make your own EGR pipe and then the IMRCs are controlled differently between the Gen 1 Marks and Cobras.

If your talking about 99 and newer Cobra parts they are a direct fit also and you will have to do the same with the wires and connectors but no IMRCs to mess with.
