I found a good condition stock hood to replace my recently damaged one, for a VERY good price..............I have a couple questions regarding removal of my damaged hood:

**Is the liner re-usable on the other hood (the replacement hood has a broken liner)?
**How do you remove the hood struts?
**I see what appears to be the washer fluid line underneath the hood liner......how easy is that to reinstall on the replacement hood?
**My goal is to remove the Torx screws on the hood itself, as it bolts to the hinges, so that I can reuse the hinges, and make life easier.............Is this do-able?

thanks,
JC

To get the struts off, use a screwdriver and pry the little clip that holds it onto the ball off. Pretty easy to do. As for the hinges, I would take the hinges with the hood. When I pulled mine off, I broke two of those torx bits and didn't budge one of the screws. There's only 3 bolts on each side for the hinges, not too bad. As for the liner, it should be able to be resued I would imagine.
