I can't remember if any of the mn12 tbirds with the 16'' wheel came with a metal center cap or not.

I know that the 96-97 sport has plastic center caps.

Does the 94-95 sc have metal center caps, or does the earlier sc have them?

The reason I ask is I am getting ready to send a set of sc wheels to the powdercoater, but I need to buy some center caps first, and make sure they are metal and able to be powdercoated.

Thanks,
JH

Can't help you with the XR-7 question.

Newer style SC rims were actually 93 - 95. Earlier SC had aluminum caps, I believe the later ones were plastic. Haven't had stock wheels on my car for a while now, don't recall for sure.

XR-7 wheels use a different size centre cap, approx. 6" diameter.

cheers

I saw a tbird at the track one night with the 16" XR-7 wheels and tbird center caps. Not sure what year tbird center caps fit or if there is any modification required.

I've got '87 TurboCoupe centers on mine and they are stainless steel.
