Ok here is the deal I have never had this happen to me in the last 8 yrs of driving thunderbirds. So I was heading to Nederland east of Houston and I was going to set my cruise control and let it go from there since it is 370miles just going down there from denton. The only thing is when I went to turn this on the horn went off. I have to ask now did the manual transmission SC's come with cruise control? cause I havent actually seen this or heard of this happening before.

Your horn and steering-wheel-mounted cruise-control switches all operate via a sliding contact assembly in your steering wheel known as a clock-spring - your clock-spring may be bad and need to be replaced.
