So I hear this "crunch" sound from the left front tire area on occasion. Every time I hear it, I'm just passing 10-15 MPH after first getting underway after the car's been sitting in the driveway (or a parking lot) for a while. It only happens once per trip, at the beginning of each trip (trip meaning get in the car, start it, go somewhere, turn it off and get out). My first impression was a bad wheel bearing, in which I was partially correct - the bearing was on its way out (a bit of play) but after replacing it, I still hear the noise. The sway bar end links are slated for replacement, as is the upper control arm on that side.

Any other possible culprits or places to look?
