I have a friend who has a 91 5.0LX Bird. Some guy cut him off and he got his hood creased. He is now looking for a custom hood. He wants to stay under $400. He said he wanted steel, or fiberglass. If its fiberglass he wants is predrilled and sanded, basicly he wants to paint it and put it on. Anyone know who makes a good product that fits this description? Please post back here.

When I hit a deer last November, my hood was screwed beyond repair so I talked my dad into letting me get Cervini's Ram Air hood. Improved the look of the car and took off about 40 lbs. It's fiberglass and cost me right at $400 including shipping to get to Nebraska. Want any other info on it, let me know. Otherwise, check the Most Wanted Parts page. The link is on the front page.

my hood was about 375$ with shipping...and done the body work myself....

not to hard to do...

but when painting it...its best to start a month a head of time because paint sinks into fiberglass really bad...you can't even tell my hood is fiberglass cause i spent a month and a half on it...

Joel - That's next on my list. My wheels should get here tomorrow and I'll put them on next spring. With college starting up again, my money supply is a bit tight at the moment.

Thanks for the comment on it though. I think the outside looks will be this way for a while because of college and winter. Next March, I hope to put my wheels on though. Haveta wait and see.

I hear that

little at a time, little at a time
that's how I've been doing mine for the past year
the only reason wheels are on it, is because of a surprise bonus at work :p
