for all u guys that have cut the coils to lower your car. how much have you cut off and how much did it lower it. as well when you do that, do they have the pig tail ends or are they flattened so u have to bend some of the coil to make it flat and fit in again? also what do u guys recommend for aftermarket shocks.

thanx devan

Are you kidding? You cut coils, you're gonna mess your car up because obviously you're not doing it right. You plan on replacing your rear end links? If you have to ask, what are those then please don't do anything to your suspension. You'll be a hazard to others driving on the road. You plan on replacing your shocks? Doesn't matter because your ride will be screwed no matter what.

Please think about doing your lowering right with "Lowering springs"

Go Bilstiens if you can fine them now...they are no longer making them for some stupid reason

yea i agree i cut mine to lower more then normal lowering springs and because the spring was not stopping the control arms from moving to far the upper control arm busted a hole thru the strut tower on drivers side. after that i just switched to h&r and it is a big diffrence the ride is so much better and the car does not bottom out.

just get lowering springs works way better.
