I'm just curious as to how well the 392 Stroker setup is working. I don' have nearly enough cash right now, but in the future (1-2 years) I might be ready to do a similar swap. I'm just curious if it's worth it. How much did it/is it going to cost you?
It is work in progress. The engine is sitting on a stand in my garage.
The transmission and converter should be here next week. Thats leaves me waiting for the 3.73 rear chunk, drive shaft, and axle half shafts.
TOTAL drive train replacement cost, $10,000 To fit the 351 base engine, it does take a cowl hood to clear the taller engine.
This engine will be near 540 HP with the AFR 185 heads, so should put me in the 11s with no trouble.
