Will the blower from a 2003 Cobra, Lightning or the Harley f150 fit on a Bird? I know it will take some work, but the blowers are pretty cheap.

It would take an insane amount of work (money) to come up with an intake manifold to bolt those blowers to.

The Ford FRPP S/C kit uses a non-aftercooled Eaton M112 blower. It is my understanding that this could be done for less than $2k.

Is that because of the 5.4 motor? I was just curious because the blowers from Lightnings and Cobras are going for a lot less than others.

Yeah the 5.4L intake manifold is completely different from ours.

I've heard of people shortening the N/A 5.4L manifold runners to fit on the 4.6L, but AFAIK that's not an option with an S/C manifold. This has been discussed a couple of times around here.
