The information about what this converter has inside is given below, taken from Alan's website (http://www.dirtydogperformance.com/converters/ford/4r70w-/-aode/9-5-inch-billet-4r70w/prod_11.html):

For those serious about racing and high rpms.
Rated for 650rwhp locked up at wide open throttle.
Damperless for a very positive clutch feel.
Small pattern is standard, large pattern available on request.

Note: This is the small pattern and will require a different flexplate from the stock MN12/FN10.

  • Studs installed for easier installation.
  • Fully furnace brazed with reinforced turbine fins for extreme durability.
  • Torrington bearings.
  • Rigid balloon plates.
  • Strongest billet cover in the industry.
  • Weighs 45lbs
  • Cast aluminum stator is standard, inquire about steel stator.
  • 42 square inches of high carbon graphite clutch lining thoroughly bonded to a billet steel lockup piston.
  • Drain plug installed for easy servicing.
It has less than 10k miles on it. This converter gives great, hard launches and is fun to play around with. I am selling it to build up funds for another project.

The price is $725 and that INCLUDES shipping to the lower 48.
