Drive with both feet? Obviously you do if you have a manual, but I have an auto and I'm in the habit of braking with my left and throttling with my right. I dunno, it just seems like I have better control that way. I've been doing it ever since I started autocrossing a few months ago.

I don't, but one of my friends does. I don't really see anything wrong with it as long as you're not accidentally riding the brake while you're driving.

I don't. I first learned to drive in a manual when I was 12 and the habit of hitting the brakes with the right foot stuck. My grandfather does though. It bothers me because I feel like he's riding the brakes, even though he probably isn't. Seeing one foot on the brake and one on the gas bothers me. (Does that last sentence remind you of a song?)

Same here.

When I went from my 90 Ranger (manual) to my 94 Exploder (auto), I kept wanting to shift the gears manually. Needless to say my hand would go for the area the stick should be (but wasn't) and my left foot would go for the clutch but slam the brake peddle to the floor instead. Luckily, the few times this happened, there was no one behind me.

Another reason to NOT do it is that you will instictively mash your right foot down in a panic situation. I can't count the number of "drivethroughs" I have seen down here because some had their foot on the wrong pedal.

I used to, I stopped because it made my right foot hurt.. the pedals are too close together.

I do occasionally run my right foot into the floor in an absent-minded attempt to find a clutch I know isn't there though.. :D

I was driving a manual for awhile, then I drove my friends auto and I didnt realize I was using both feet until my friend said something to me about it. Then I stopped. I only drive with the right foot in my auto bird now.

I don't but I have a friend who does. It's not because he's used to driving a manual, I think it's because he's driven so many cars that'll die at a stop unless you keep one foot on the gas. :D
