does sc rear bumper required inner foam trimming on 96 lx?

try to put on a 94 sc rear bumper on my 96 lx and the corner just behind the rear wheels the hole wouldn't line up by any means. help......:(

saw the rear end already. looks like i need to trim off the lower part of the foam. will do it sometimes this week.

Casper... the crush panel(foam) is different between your car and the '94SC. Get the right crush panel if you don't want to mess with trimming yours.

isn't that panel are help on by rivets? i don't have access to those huge rivets gun and i'll just trimmed mine. easier that way. there's a blue 94 sc at the yard here but that piece is crushed anyway. if i trimmed mine just need a blade and take out about 1 inch vertical and horizontal. will snap few pic of it.

foam trimmed and the bumper fit perfectly now.

and i paid 250 for fixing up the scracth(how to spell???) and filled up the sc word. will get an inner insert and wanting a v8 sticker on the sc part. kinda said "thunderbird v8" on there.
