It is going to be very costly. I would check to see if the crank will clear the inside of the block. I thought that I have seen it mentioned that the 96-98 iron blocks needed to be clearenced to clear the counter weights on the crank. The nightmare is going to be a absoulte night mare. I know that the 94-95 front covers won't fit 96 and up iron blocks but will fit the 02 explorer block I am not sure what dhoc front cover will fit the front of the block. It would be much cheaper and simpler to build a 331 stroker 302 add a vortech with front mount intercooler than the route you have taken. I feel that you could buy the vortech for the diffrence in cost builing a 5.0 compared to a 4.6. I think that most of your accesories would work with a 5.0 and I know that the transmission will work.
