I have a 97 t-bird that has some damage on the drivers side fender and i found a replacement fender on ebay. are there only certain year fenders that work on my car or is it true that the 90-97 fenders are all the same as stated in this guys auction. what should i do guys. is this a good purchase or should i just get it fixed at a body shop. also here is a bumper i am looking at please let me know what you think. i am trying to buy the parts myself and then take them to get painted at the body shop, i need to save some money. here are the links:

i know on the cougars 96-97's had a different contour and the fenders from earlier wouldn't fit. I think that the t-birds are the same. the 96/97's are a little more rounded.

The Bumper cover will work. 96-97 are the same. I don't know about the Fender. I think that only a 96-97 will fit, but I'm not certain. good luck with it though!

The difference in fenders is that the 96-97 had post holes for the body cladding, but that is the only difference i am aware of.

yep, you can buy a 89-95 fender and drill the holes yourself if need be....
