Hi gang,
Got a buyer that wants the entire independent rear suspension and gears to put into a street rod. His question is if he buys it is "can he change the drum brake system to disk. Any special considerations? Can he use everything else as is and just change the brakes to disk? Thanks for any input you have.

PS. What would you folks consider a fair price for the rear set up??

PSS. My cars are all non SC cars from 89 to 94.

I know it is possible, but I'm not sure exactly what needs to be changed. He might need to buy different spindles, or maybe its just a different bracket to mount the calipers instead of the backing plate from the drum setup. Also the brake lines and the parking brake cables will be different.
