I have 96 exhaust manifolds I'm putting on my 92. The right side one I got from a salvage yard and when it was removed from the car they bent the EGR tube and kinked it to the point where it can't be straightened.:redmad:

I was looking on Ford Parts Online and they don't list a new EGR tube. Can I use the one that off my '92?

I had to buy a new one from the dealer for my 95 Town Car. Price was in the $30's. Otherwise, its a run to the yards to find another one. They never fit right after they get bent.

The 92 might only have one vacuum line and the 96 might have 2. Kinda like the pick of my 95 TC:

Since the 92 uses one you should be fine. That is if it fits... ???

on my 94 egr, there was one vac line. my 96 egr had 2 and i just blocked off the other. you're gonna want to do that before it goes on. i didnt and had the mess with it behind the motor which is a PITA

I'm wondering if they are bent the same way as well. I know the exhuast down pipe has to be modified on the right side as the exhaust manifold is shaped different.

i had to get new downpipes made for my 94 when i put the 96 manifolds in. IIRC the vac tubes on the 96 egr came straight out, not curved as above
