I have a 96 Cougar with the 4.6L that has been giving me fits for the last few weeks! I had to replace the computer with one from a 97 cougar due to other issues. Now the engine bogs once you push the throttle more than 1/4 of the way. I thought it would get better after driving for a while, but it really didn't do anything. I ended up unplugging the Mass airflow sensor and now it runs almost perfect!?!?! With the sensor unplugged, I can at least give it full throttle! Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?? I don't really want to go out and buy a new sensor if I don't have to.

I just replaced the intake manifold with the new aluminum crossover and I also replaced all the spark plugs and wires.
