How long should I wait before I hit WOT on a Reman Engine? 500 Miles or 1000 Miles or what? Just curious. I always thought you were supposed to drive it easy for at least 500 Miles.

the manual i got from dss said to use rotella-t oil (15w-40) and to change the oil every 100 miles for the first 300. they say you can not change your oil enough. also, do not use synthetic till at least the 500 mark. low idle is really bad for a new modular motor as the oil pump is crank driven and low rpm will cause oil starvation. also, high way drives at constant rpm should be avoided.
