Hey guys,

Ok this will sound silly...

I have a PI motor in my tbird which I blew up...So I build a nice stout bottom end..I go to put on teh motor mounts and one just doesnt fit correctly. I actually have to grind at it a bit to make it fit flush so I can bolt it onto the motor....

Now also it seems the chassis bracket part of the mounts are facing in opposite directions. One is closer to motor teh other further away...

Now I didnt install teh original PI motor..Is there something different block wise between tbird and Stang motor?? I dont get it..Motors going in and I dont want to find out these brackets are on wrong when im trying to get it in...

I did nothing more then unbolted them from one motor onto other

Any help would be appreciated

Damon

I had a similar problem when I droped my engine in. It turns out that the oil pan was thicker and the motor wouldn't seat right. The passenger's side motor mount sat higher :zdunno:
