Engine idles fine in neutral and park.
Drop it in gear. Motor will stall.
If I 2 foot it, I can keep it running.
I suspect the lock up torque convertor is still locked up and not letting go.
Another reason I think it's the lock up is stuck is ....
When you drive manual transmission car. Backlash in the drivetrain can be felt going in and out of the throttle. All of a sudden I'm noticing that same drivetrain backlash, like a manual trans car.

I read 3 pages of the drivetrain section and no mention of this. Anyone heard of problems and/or symptons like this?

I'd check the resistance of the TCC solenoid and check the brake switch as well.

The TCC solenoid is the Torque Converter Clutch solenoid. Here's some info from the 1995 Service Manual:
