You can't fit a 5.4 crank in a 4.6 block. You can get a 3.75" crank and 3.7" bore for 324cid (versus 330cid of a 5.4) but that's big bucks.
Putting in a 5.4 block will net you low end torque but your not going to make any more (probably less) power than a 4.6. The 5.4 also has very few 2v intake options.
Stick with stock displacement, or get a big bore, or go 4v and get whatever displacement you want.
