In my tractor power lab, working on a lab report. I need some good words to use here, I'm hoping you's all have some.

Why is there more friction created the faster the engine speed?

and

This is a 4 cyl diesel engine with a turbo. We ran it once on the dyno with all 4 firing and then pulled one injector and dyno'd it with only 3 firing. I have a plot with air consumption vs rpm. the 3 cylinder run consumes less air than the 4. Why?
