dont bother. go with either an 01+ Crown Vic 4.6, 99+ Mustang GT 4.6, or 2002-2005 Explorer 4.6. the explorer motor is all alminum, and all of them are easier to adapt and have more outta da box horsepower than the pickup motor.

control arms and springs wont be a consideration. Biggest motor wont really help, its the one you can most efficently adapt to the proper trans and EEC that matters.

see what i said already. get a 99+ 4R70W, a good convertor from dirtyd0g, cams and springs, and a tune from www.blueovalchips.com
